Support of Freshwater Fish Farming in Mountain Areas

Development Intention:

Development intention of project is improving the life quality of rural people by introducing sustainable technologies in the area of freshwater fish farming leading to the increase in production and in creating a more stable socio-economic environment in the target area.
The proposed project will bring broad suitable available farming technologies, deriving from local conditions that will be permanently sustainable, easily reproducible and environment- friendly.

Aim of the Project:

The main objective of the project is implementation of sustainable freshwater fish farming in the provinces of Lang Son and Cao Bang.

Outputs of the Project:

The analysis of aquaculture potential.
Selection of farmers cooperatives and its management strategy.
Capacity building of members of fish farming cooperatives.
Implementation of demonstrative fish farming systems.
Promotion of implemented fish farming systems.
